حكاية غاندي والحذاء gandi & the shoe

" لَو سَقطتْ منْك فَردة حِذاءك.. واحِدة فقطْ
.. أو مثلاً ضَاعتْ فردَة حِذاء.. واحِدة فقطْ ؟؟
مـَــاذا ستَفعل بِالأُخرى ؟ "
يُحكى أنْ ((غَانـدِي))
كَانَ يجّري بِسرعة لِلحاقِ بِقطآر 
وقَد بَدأ القِطار بِالسيّر 
وعنْد صُعودهِ القِطار سَقطت منْ قَدمه إحّدى فَردتيّ حِذآئه
فَما كَان مِنه إلاّ خَلع الفَردة الثانِية
وبِسُرعة رَماهَا بِجوارالفَردة الأولَى علَى سِكة القِطَار
فَتعجَب أصدِقاؤُه !!!!؟
وسَألوه
مَاحَملَك عَلى مَافَعلتْ؟
لِماذَا رَمِيت فَردة الحِذَاء الأُخرَى؟
فَقال ((غَاندِي)) الحَكيِم
((أحّببتُ للِفقِير الّذي يَجد الحِذاء أنْ يَجد فَردتَين فَيستطِيع الإنْتِفاع بِهما 
فَلو وَجدَ فَردَةً واحِدة فَلن تُفيده ولنْ أسّتفيِد أنَا منْها أيضاً))

As Gandhi stepped aboard a train one day, one of his shoes slipped off and landed on the track. 

He was unable to retrieve it as the train started rolling. To the amazement of his companions, Gandhi calmly took off his other shoe and threw it back along the track to land close to the first shoe. 

Asked by a fellow passenger why he did that, Gandhi replied, 'the poor man who finds the shoe lying on the track will now have a pair he can use.'
